I have been a client of Shelley's for over 18 years. When we first met, some of her ideas at first, I didn't understand such as why would that wall be colored purple and will it look good? I was in a place in my life that I needed assistance. Therefore, I decided to trust her expertise. I sure am glad that I did! The purple wall is fabulous amongst so many other aspects of how profound her work is. I can say with all honesty that Shelley changed my life. She has been in business for over 30 years with prior experience outside of design work that sets her apart from most. Her professionalism is outstanding. I hired her painter at one point. Her subcontractors are professional. Not only do they do a good job, but they have integrity with their established business relationship. She is wonderful at Project Management. We purchased our Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in 1972. In 1995, after several moves on the east coast, I decided the chair needed to be reupholstered. Thanks to Shelley the chair was shipped to the company’s Michigan manufacturing facility. The chair was returned to our shore house in New Jersey within a few weeks, immaculate once again -- the best re-upholstery work I have ever seen. This may seem like a very simple “Work Order” process, but I saw the benefit of Shelley’s Project Management experience make the whole process work like magic. KC

We initially engaged the services of Shelley Black, owner of Fleming Black Group, a few years back when we updated our Colorado mountain home. I decided to "update" the home via a new color palette and lighting.
